Food to lose weight

Food to lose weight is in the forefront of my mind right now - I am starving, the weather is miserable, wet and cold.  So what can I do?  I feel real bad, I've just had a belgium bun and a cup of tea.  NOT good for my fat and weight loss program.

I went to the gym this morning so I suppose I feel gym will cancel out the belgium bun?   Who am I kidding?  Cheating is not the answer, is it?

What do you think?

When the weather is yucky like this I really struggle with keeping healthy eating on track.  But you know what?  I have learnt to be philosophical about the odd transgression.

The 80 - 20 rule is what I find works for me. If I eat and exercise 80% of the time then 20% of the time I can eat something bad and not feel bad about it.

It works for me!

The part of cheating like this that really gets to me is the fat which is going into my system.  Cholesterol and transfatty acids do bother me.  Yuck!

Well, I have finished the sticky bun now and I must admit I did enjoy it.  I won't be doing this again for a long time!
